Akure Solidarity Movement Congratulates Chairman, Vice Chairman, and 11 Councilors of Akure South

 

The Akure Solidarity Movement (ASM), a prominent socio-political group within the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, has extended its warm congratulations to the newly elected Chairman of Akure South Local Government Area, Hon. (Dr.) Gbenga Fasua, his Deputy, Hon. Adebayo Ayodele, and the 11 Councilors representing various political wards in the local government area. The group expressed its pride in the elected officials, acknowledging their commitment to serving the people of Akure South.

 

In a press statement made available to Democrat News Magazine in Akure, Ondo State, on March 8, 2025, the ASM, through its Chairman, Hon. Adewole Ifedayo, Secretary, Barr. Kayode Taiwo Samson, and Public Relations Officer, Hon. Akinsulu Temidayo, praised the leadership qualities of Hon. Gbenga Fasua. They expressed their unwavering confidence in his ability to propel Akure South to greater heights of development, unity, and prosperity.

 

The statement also highlighted the group’s appreciation for the unwavering support of the state governor, acknowledging the provision of utility vehicles to ensure the smooth functioning of local governance across the state. This gesture, the ASM said, would go a long way in enabling the elected officials to better serve their constituents and effectively implement policies for community advancement.

 

Hon. Fasua’s leadership was lauded for being visionary and progressive, with the ASM commending his dedication to improving the welfare of Akure South residents. The group emphasized the importance of strong, effective leadership at the local government level and expressed its full support for the new administration in achieving its goals.
