Ondo CFAN Celebrates End Of The Year In Special Way
The Ondo State chapter of Cocoa Farmers Association of Nigeria (CFAN) on Thursday, December 19th, 2024 hosted members to a special end of year meeting/party as a way to set agenda for the coming year.
The National President of the Association, Comrade Adeola Adegoke who used the occasion to appreciate members for their support said he was happy at the turnout of members.
He took time to share some of the plans of the association fod members admonishing them to play their part so as to benefit from lots of initiatives put together to better the lots of registered members.
He also admonished those who are yet to register as members stressing that united, the body can attract more dividends to members.
At the event also was the state chairman, Comrade Dongo Sunday who further restated the dangers of child abuse most especially in cocoa farms.
While also lauding members for their cooperation, he called for more support in the coming year.
The event also afforded the representative from the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity who spoke on behalf of the Controller, Mrs. Magboruko the opportunity to speak about child labour and its dangers.
In separate remarks, one of the National Officers of CFAN, Comrade Taiwo Solomon Williams applauded the leadership for deeming it fit to host members and to set agenda for the coming year.
In attendance at the event include community leaders some of which include Alhaji Sulaiman Kareem from Ijero, Oloye Odofin from Idanre, Baale Frederick Adewole from Idanre, Oba Olusoga Akinadeju also from Idanre and representative of the State Chairman of Trade Union Congress (TUC), Comrade Clement Fatuase among others.
