Princess Abiodun Akinluwa of Radio Nigeria Positive FM Bids Farewell to Beloved Mother in Grand Style

In a heartfelt tribute to a life well-lived, princess Abiodun Akinluwa-Fasoranti, a senior staff member of Radio Nigeria Positive FM, Akure celebrated the cherished memories of her beloved mother, Late Olori Aduke Akinluwa.

The matriarch, who passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024, at the age of 74, was laid to rest on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Akure, Ondo State.

The solemn yet grand burial ceremony began with a moving funeral service officiated by Pastor Remi Adesanmoye of the Prayer and Divine Covenant Ministry. Held at the late Olori Aduke’s residence in Ifesowapo II, Ilekun Quarters, off Oda Road, Akure, the service was marked by an outpouring of tributes, prayers, and hymns that honoured the legacy of a remarkable woman.

Olori Aduke Akinluwa was remembered as a virtuous woman whose life was defined by unwavering faith, love and kindness.

Family members, friends, and well-wishers from far and wide gathered to celebrate her impactful life and bid farewell to the matriarch who had left an indelible mark on her community and loved ones.

Princess Abiodun Akinluwa-Fasoranti, visibly emotional yet composed, described her mother as a pillar of strength and a beacon of wisdom. She expressed gratitude for the countless lessons and values imparted by her late mother, which have shaped her life and career.

“Mama was not just my mother but my greatest inspiration. Her faith in God and her selflessness will forever remain a guiding light in our lives,” she said.

The ceremony was a blend of reverence and celebration, reflecting the joyful spirit with which Olori Aduke lived her life. Friends and colleagues from radio nigeria Positive FM Akure and other media organizations came in large numbers to support princess Akinluwa-Fasoranti, offering their condolences and celebrating the legacy of the departed.

The gathering also featured emotional tributes, soulful gospel renditions, and words of comfort from clergy and family members.

As the final rites were performed, the atmosphere was filled with a mix of sorrow and gratitude. While her physical presence will be missed, the legacy of Olori Aduke Akinluwa lives on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched. Her burial served as a reminder of the importance of faith, love, and community in navigating the journey of life.

Also, another daughter of the deceased, princess Ajoke Okundalaye who is the
Director Accounts in the Ministry of Finance in Ondo State, said her mother would be greatly missed for her love and care.

Some of the dignitaries who graced the burial ceremony include Pastor Abiodun Akinseloyin, the permanent secretary ministry of Finan go Adegbeha, P.S.Government House Protocol, Pastor Dayo Awude of hrist Chapel lnt’ Churches , City Worship Center, and members of staff of Radio Nigeria, Positive FM, Akure.

Others are Mrs Adesida Oluwadare, Director Centre Pay Office, Accountant General’s Office and
Mrs Kehinde Adebayo, Director CAF, Accountant General’s Office.

The late Olori Akinluwa was the mother of princess Abiodun Akinluwa-Fasoranti, a senior staff member of Radio Nigeria,Postive FM Akure .
