Olori Oyinkansola Foundation Announces 2024 Empowerment Programme

The Olori Oyinkansola Foundation has formally announced the date for its much-anticipated 2024 Empowerment Programme, aimed at uplifting widows, youths, elderly women, students, and other vulnerable individuals in the society.

The event is scheduled for December 14, 2024, and will provide valuable support to those in need, ensuring they experience a joyful yuletide season.

This announcement was made on Sunday, November 3, 2024, by the foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Hon. (Mrs.) Oyinkansola Aroloye, who reiterated the foundation’s commitment to giving back to society and creating lasting impacts within the community.

The foundation, which primarily focuses on supporting aged women, widows, students, and youths, has consistently demonstrated this mission through its annual empowerment initiatives.

Entering its third year, the OY Foundation’s empowerment programme has, over the past two years, distributed essential materials, food supplies, and financial assistance totaling over six million naira.

The initiative has already benefited numerous families, addressing critical needs and easing the burdens faced by many marginalized groups.

Hon. (Mrs.) Oyinkansola Aroloye, affectionately known as Olori, expressed her dedication to expanding the reach of this year’s empowerment programme.

She emphasized that the foundation is committed to touching as many lives as possible, with the goal of making a meaningful difference for individuals who may otherwise struggle during the festive season.

“As a foundation, we believe in the power of giving back to our community, and we understand the importance of standing together, especially during challenging times,” said Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye.

“Our goal is to ensure that every person we reach feels supported and valued.”

The OY Foundation invites members of the public who fall within the target categories—widows, youths, elderly women, students, and other vulnerable individuals—to attend and benefit from the upcoming programme.

Through this event, the foundation hopes to foster a spirit of hope and resilience in the community, celebrating the season with a message of compassion and unity.
