In his words “When she started I was skeptical about it and I took my time to study her and discovered it was a positive venture and I have to support her greatly.
“When you have a plan, you back it up with prayer; this is our style. we planed and prayed and the result is what you are seeing here today.
We are using this opportunity to tell all our potential costumers that we are set to give them the best through honesty. If there is any complain we are going to attend to it promptly. Like an advert says ‘If we are doing good tell others, if we are doing bad tell us’.
While speaking during the opening ceremony of the Filling Station the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Riktoy Oil and Gas, Mrs. Arike Oluwatyoin Adejumola appreciated God for making her childhood dream of being a owner of filling station a reality.
Mrs. Adejumola said that efforts toward becoming owner of filling station was dated back to her secondary school days when she worked as pump attendant with TEXACO filling station under Mr. Omonije.
“When I came for interview that day, I loved the way the manager (Mr. Omonije) dressed and I said it unconsciously ‘one day I will become owner of filling station like this, the man heard me and he laid hands on me to ratify my desire I communicated to him at the point of interview.
“Since then God has been working things out for me to become the owner of a filling station as you can see today. I have tried many businesses but to no avail.
“Because God had hands in the planning and He made all things to work together for the good of my vision. As a matter of fact, people were just coming to render assistance one way or the other to make it work.
According to her “when I told my husband initially that we should do the business of Oil and Gas he declined rather he said I should be selling coke and that he will buy truck for me. I consider my popularity as Iya Ewe of my Church, President of many Social Clubs and others I was looking for a business that people cannot buy on credit.
“Gradually I started the business with the encouragement of Magistrate Anthony Akinrinsola who told me I can get it done with just N5 million, I told him I have up to N5 million and I started, but within three days I finished N5 million yet the works had not moved.
“He (Akinrinsola) further encouraged me and I kept on until I finally achieved my age long dream.
“On this note, I want to appreciate my husband, all my friends and good people that stood by me to ensure the success of this vision today”.
In his good will message, Alhaji Ibrahim Wuraola congratulated the CEO of Riktoy Oil and Gas for the success of the occasion.
“I want to use this medium to advise the CEO, Mrs. Arike Oluwatoyin Adejumola to keep on with the honesty she is known form.
“I also want to call on other women to emulate Riktoy who has been a very hard working woman from her youth and the result is evident today.”
