Special Birthday Package: Union Leaders, Workers Celebrate Comrade Victor Amoko
It was indeed a day to be remembered for Comrade Victor Amoko, the Chairman of NLC Ondo State Council as the leaders of affliate Unions converged to celebrate the man they described as a leader of many impacts.
The special birthday package was held at NLC Secretariat at Alagbaka Akure on Wednesday 3rd of April 2024 as notable leaders of the union were in attendance.
In his good will message, National President of NCSU and National Vice President of NLC, Comrade Sunday Oluwole Adeleye rejoiced with Comrade Amoko for the grace of God upon his life to enable him to witness another glorious day of his life.
He commended Amoko over his unprecedented achievements since he came to saddle of leadership of the union as Congress Chairman and charged him to keep the flag flying and to achieve more for the good of the workers.
In his words: “let me use this medium to congratulate Comrade Amoko and to charge him to continue in his impactful service life to the state.
Adeleye used the medium to advise all the union leaders to maintain their neutrality in the ongoing political scheming in the state.
Also in his comment, the JNC Chairman, Comrade Olapade Ademola Adeniji described Comrade Victor Amoko as a jolly good fellow whose impacts in champion cannot be overemphasized or wished away and that others should emulate his quality virtues.
Some other Union Leaders that extol the virtues of Comrade Victor Amoko at the occasion including Comrade Olomiye Kehinde of Nurses and Midwives union and Comrade Afolabi Olufemi of JUSUN who is also the treasurer of NLC in the state
Also in his comment, the Gbobaniyi of Isinkan land High Chief, Prince Aanu Ijiti Samuel wished the celebrant well and used the opportunity to pray for him.
While responding the celebrant, Comrade Victor Amoko appreciated all the organizers and those who came to grace the event which he described as positive surprise.
While pouring out his heart in prayer for all that made the day glamorous, Comrade Amoko said said everyone should endeavour to do good stressing that whatever good or bad a man does will return to him someday.
The Secretary programme was anchored by the Secretary of NLC, Comrade Akin Sunday as Ohun Oluwa Ewi Exponent and his team added glamour to the event.
