Encomiums As Alhaji Hassan Aforolagba Celebrates Birthday In Grandstyle
It was a shower of torrent of encomiums from members of family, friends and associates as Alhaji Hassan Aforolagba celebrated his 64th birthday anniversary in glamour.
Alhaji Hassan Aforolagba who was born on the 17th of January, 1960 to the noble family of Aforolagba in Oyo State, Nigeria as become a house hold name in Nigeria and Ondo State in particular for his business prowess.
He had his Primary School Education in 1967 and his Secondary School Education between 1968 and 1973 after which he ventured into business of buying and selling of livestock. Which happened to the business of his biological father.
For the special love his father had for him, he prevented Alhaji Hassan from taking civil service job rather he should take of the family business of selling livestock.
With his father, the business had made him traveled to many places within Nigeria, particularly the northern part of the country.
He started his political career from 1983 under the tutelage of uncle who was then the Chairman of Ibadan Local Government and he was made the party Agent for the defunct Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN).
He later rose through the political rank, and became Ward Chairman and was a strong force to be reckoned with.
He was confered with chieftaincy title as Barakoyi of Ibadan land (war lord of Ibadan land).
In Ondo State, Alhaji Hassan Aforolagba was the State Chairman of People’s Party of Nigeria (PPN).
His party featured Mrs. Temlola Olagbegi as the standard bearer of PPN, while PDP and APC featured Mr. Eyitayo Jegede, SAN and Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN respectively.
His party later formed alliance with APC to work for the success of Akeredolu at the polls.
For his active and robust contributions towards economic development of Ondo State he was crowned as Babalaje General for the whole state under the leadership of Comrade Stephen Adedayo, the Aare Babalola General and the Chairman MATAN in Ondo State.
While speaking with the Democrat News Magazine he appreciated, the Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan and his cabinet members for how they has started well in providing level plain ground for all sectors to thrive.
“I use this opportunity to greet our people in Ondo State, across the 18 Local Government Areas and I pray that God will prosper all the works of their hands.”
Some of those who came to celebrate with him prayed for his success in life and politics described him as a man of honour and unassuming leader.
