Babalaje General Calls For More Involvement Youths In MATAN

Babalaje General of Ondo State, Alhaji Hassan Aforoloagbe has called on the youths in all the 18 Local Government Areas of the state to as a matter importance join hands with the Market Traders’ Association of Nigeria (MATAN) in order to change their fortunes economically as 2024 is fast approaching.
Babalaje General Ondo State who is also Deputy State Chairman of MATAN in Ondo State while speaking with the Democrat News Magazine in Akure recently said MATAN has brought avalanche of opportunities to all and sundry in the Country and Ondo State youths should not miss out.
Aforoloagbe said MATAN under the executive Chairmanship of Comrade (Chief) Adebowale Adebayo Stephen who is also the Aare Babaloja General has good intentions for the youths of Ondo State.
Aforoloagbe therefore called on parents and various Communities leader to galvanize the support of their children and wards to participate in ongoing massive recruitment processes.
“At present, there an opportunity for people with School Certificate, National Diploma and Bs.C, and so on, our parents should encourage their children to participate as to grant the financial reliance.
He noted that Market Traders’ Association of Nigeria (MATAN) in Ondo State has been well prepared to repositioning economy through effective and progressive performances of all the leaders from State Chairman to the Deputy State Chairman, to Projects Manager and other categories of leadership.
In his words: “MATAN is the only organization that Federal Government empowered to collect Income Tax and Value Added Tax. By the grace of God it will commence as soon as possible.
“There is therefore now, a new approach to collections of direct taxes in our market places across the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo State.”
Babalaje General of Ondo State use the opportunity to greet all his members that are Christians as they celebrate 2023 Christmas.
He also used the medium to pray for successful and Prosperous New year ahead.
