Young Nigerian Voices (YNV) Reaffirms Commitment to Youth Leadership and Development with Charitable Outreach in Ondo

In a heartfelt show of solidarity and social responsibility, the Ondo State chapter of the Young Nigerian Voices (YNV), a dynamic socio-political youth movement, made a significant gesture during the 2025 Easter celebration with the donation of palliative relief items to the less privileged at Promise Land Prophetic Ministry, Parliament Estate, Alagbaka, Akure. This initiative, inspired by the philanthropic spirit of Honorable Chukwuemeka Nwajuiba, reflects YNV’s core mission of empowering the next generation while addressing societal needs.

Young Nigerian Voices, known by its acronym YNV, is a non-governmental and non-religious organization made up of patriotic, progressive young Nigerians. With structures firmly established across all 36 states, the FCT, 6 geo-political zones, 109 senatorial districts, and 774 local government areas, YNV envisions a nation where youth are not just observers but active participants in shaping Nigeria’s political and socio-economic future. The group advocates a holistic approach to governance by infusing young, vibrant leadership into Nigeria’s political fabric.

Speaking at the Easter outreach, the State Coordinator, Hon. Olusoji Adeniyi, alongside his Deputy, Mr. Sunday Egerege, emphasized the group’s unwavering dedication to generational reorientation and the transformation of Nigeria through youth engagement. The donation, they said, symbolizes more than charity—it stands as a call for inclusive leadership and value-driven governance that reflects the ideals of social democracy and national development.

The clergy, Pastor Gbenga Akinbiyi, who received the donation on behalf of the church, expressed deep gratitude to Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajuiba for his ongoing commitment to Christian communities and for inspiring initiatives like this. He offered prayers for divine blessings and success in all of Nwajuiba’s endeavors, acknowledging his charitable spirit as a model for other leaders to emulate, particularly in times of social and economic hardship.

As YNV continues its nationwide mission, the organization reiterates its concern over the marginalization of youth in Nigeria’s leadership processes, growing unemployment, and rising insecurity. With a governance structure rooted in the 3Rs principle—Representation, Responsibility, and Reform—YNV remains steadfast in its purpose: to promote credible, vibrant leadership and steer the country towards technological innovation, institutional reform, and sustainable development.
