Yoruba Study Group Confers Golden Leadership Excellence Award On God Lovely CEO, Femi Ajayi-Alabora
A coalition of Young Professionals and Political Conscious Youth and Elders, Yoruba Study Group (YSG) has conferred Golden Leadership Excellence Award on the Chief Executive Officer of the God Lovely Nig Enterprise, Mr Femi Ajayi- Alabora.
The award presentation took place at the recipient office in Alagbaka, Akure on Tuesday 8th April, 2025.
Speaking, the President of the group, Comrade Olabanji William said YSG was founded in 2009 with a broad mission to create a formidable platform for coordination of awareness, advocacy and historical research for improved leadership, open governance and innovative development of Yoruba land as well as to protect and project Yoruba Cultural Heritage.
He stated further that, the choice of Mr Femi Ajayi- Alabora for the Prestigious honour from the group was basically based on his advocacy and promotion of Yoruba core values of integrity and accountability in his service to Ondo State Government as a Consultant.
The President added that, the search light of the group also beamed at his professional career and service to humanity, standing out among others in the state.
His words: Your landmark achievements in your professional career and service to humanity especially your immeasurable contributions towards the economic growth, human capital and physical development of Ondo State and Yoruba land better positioned you for this great honour”.
He commended Alabora invaluable contributions to Ondo State Internally Generated Revenue, new innovation of bio data capturing farmers in the state forest, accountability among others which will enhance security of lives and property in the state.
“Your unalloyed support and unflinching loyalty to the progressive government of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in moving Ondo State forward and good character has been a source of great inspiration to teeming Nigerian youths.
“Mr Femi Ajayi- Alabora has a proven outstanding records of excellence in Ondo State Forestry Management. His ground breaking success in this regard are massive and unparalleled. His dedication to service, humility, accessibility, hardwork and untainted integrity has been his brand for years”.
Meanwhile, president frowned at the manner civilization has taken over our culture and tradition, saying the group is determined to revive the loss value of Yoruba Culture while charging government and parents to uphold the value and sanctity of the society, lamenting that social media is creating more havoc than good.
In response, Alabora thanked the leadership of Yoruba Study Group (YSG) for counting him worthy for the Prestigious Award while promising to continue to serve the state better.
Alabora said his upbringing of hardworking, integrity, accountability, probity has helped him in the journey of life saying his parents have imbibed in him the spirit of hardwork as an antidote to poverty which has been his driving force in whatever position he finds himself.
He added that despite the challenges encountered in the course of contributing his own quota to the economy growth of Ondo State, he assured the government of Ondo State of increase IGR and surpassing the target set for them.
Alabora thanked Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for believing in him and giving his company opportunity to change the old narrative of underhand dealings in revenue generation to the government coffers saying God Lovely Nig Enterprise will ensure accountability and transparency in all their dealings with the farmers in the state forest.
While appreciating his team, Alabora noted that all the successes so far recorded was as a result of the cooperation and support of God Lovely Nig Enterprise team, urging them not to relent in their efforts.
In separate goodwill messages, both the farmers and his team showered encomium on Alabora whom they described as God fearing, positive thinker, goal getter, good initiator, master of progressive ideas, great achiever, hardworking man who value integrity and good name.
While promising to continue to support him, they prayed for God guidance, more wisdom, knowledge and understanding to lead the team to greatness.
