EID-EL-FITRI 2025 CELEBRATIONS: LCDA BOSS FELICITATES MUSLIM COMMUNITY IN AKURE EAST LCDA, AKURE MR. GOVERNOR AND SHEHU YAYI AKOREDE
The Chairman of Akure East Local Government Development Authority, Hon. Barr. Kayode Taiwo Samson, LLM, extends his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim faithful of Akure East LCDA, Akure Kingdom, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and the Chief Imam of Akure, Shehu Akeem Yayi Akorede, on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid-El-Fitri festival celebration.
In a statement personally signed by him in Akure, the distinguished legal practitioner and seasoned administrator took the opportunity to remind the Muslim community of the profound spiritual lessons and teachings imparted during the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of upholding the values of patience, charity, compassion, and gratitude as outlined in the holy Qur’an and exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
“Although the holy month of Ramadan has come to a close, I implore our Muslim brothers and sisters to carry the virtues of solemnity, purity, and piety into their daily lives,” said Hon. Barr. Kayode Taiwo Samson. “Let us remain steadfast in our devotion to the Almighty Allah, ensuring that the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) continue to guide us throughout the year.”
Hon. Barr. Kayode Taiwo Samson further urged the Muslim faithful to celebrate the festive occasion in moderation and harmony, fostering peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among all members of society, regardless of religious beliefs.
“Once again, I extend my warmest congratulations to all our Muslim brothers and sisters. May this celebration bring peace, joy, and prosperity to your lives, and may the blessings of Eid fill your hearts with unwavering faith and unity,” he concluded.
