Hausa Community in Imafon Extends Congratulations to Governor Aiyedatiwa, Advocates for Soft Loans to Boost Local Businesses
The Hausa community in Imafon Kingdom has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his inauguration as the 7th Executive Governor of Ondo State, while also calling on the state government to provide support to enhance local businesses in the area. The community has urged the government to consider offering soft loans to help local entrepreneurs expand and thrive.
Alhaji Ali, the chairman and Seriki of the Hausa community in Imafon, made these remarks during an interview with Democrat News Magazine on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Speaking from the heart of the community, Alhaji Ali emphasized the peaceful and business-friendly environment that Imafon offers to both locals and visitors alike. He expressed optimism that with proper support from the government, the businesses in the area could grow to greater heights.
“This community is peaceful, and the environment is very conducive for business,” said Alhaji Ali. “We are asking for the government’s support, especially through soft loans, to help our people expand their businesses and improve their livelihoods.”
Echoing his sentiment, Mrs. Janet Andrew, a resident of Imafon, noted that there are many individuals in the community eager to start or grow their businesses but are hindered by the lack of financial resources. She emphasized that providing access to funding would help unlock the entrepreneurial potential within the community.
Mode Daudu, a prominent leader of the Hausa community in Imafon, also spoke on the matter, highlighting the positive strides that businesses have made in the area. He expressed gratitude for the community’s progress thus far and joined in the call for soft loans to further stimulate economic growth.
“We are thankful that businesses are thriving in our community, and we believe that with access to soft loans, we can achieve even greater success,” Mode Daudu stated.
The Hausa community also used the occasion to congratulate Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, on their inauguration, wishing them success in their leadership of Ondo State. In addition, they expressed deep appreciation to Oba Samuel Aliu Adegbehingbe for his exemplary leadership and the positive impact he has had on the community.
