Today, I, Hon. Bosun Ogunleye, join countless followers, friends and admirers in celebrating the Platinum Jubilee of an extraordinary leader, Hon. Sunday Ifedayo Abegunde, fondly known as ABENA. This momentous occasion is a testament to God’s grace, favour and the enduring legacy of a man who has dedicated his life to service, excellence and the betterment of our beloved Akure and Ondo State at large.
Hon. Abegunde’s journey is one of unwavering commitment to the people, marked by exceptional service as a two-term member of the House of Representatives and a distinguished tenure as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) in Ondo State. Through these roles, he has demonstrated an unparalleled dedication to leadership, development, and the upliftment of our communities, leaving an indelible mark on those he has served.
As the Executive Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Hon. Abegunde has continued to exemplify selflessness, vision and diligence in driving progress in the Niger Delta region. His achievements reflect his passion for growth and prosperity, which continue to inspire younger generations to strive for excellence and purpose-driven leadership.
