2025: Ondo State RTEAN Chairman, Comrade Adewale Bolarinwa, Calls for Peace, Enhanced Collaboration Among Members
The State Chairman of the Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), Ondo State branch, Comrade Adewale Bolarinwa, has called on members of the association to embrace peace and foster better working relationships within the union and with other unions across and beyond Ondo State.
Speaking to journalists at his office on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, Comrade Bolarinwa emphasized that Ondo State has consistently set a standard for peace and tranquility in Nigeria. He expressed hope that the state would build upon this legacy in the new year.
“We thank God for seeing us through 2024 and pray for a glorious 2025. It is God who has been in control of all things and He should be appreciated” he stated.
Comrade Bolarinwa reiterated the association’s focus on peace and called on the government to ensure a harmonious atmosphere across all sectors, affirming Ondo State’s reputation for peaceful coexistence.
He urged all drivers to avoid consuming alcohol while driving to safeguard lives, emphasizing the importance of responsibility on the roads.
The chairman also appealed to RTEAN members to remain resilient and cooperative to ensure the success and growth of the union in 2025.
In the same way, Comrade Bolarinwa extended his condolences to the Ondo State Government over the passing of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi. He prayed for strength and comfort for the family and friends of the late SSG as they endure this irreparable loss.
With these resolutions, Comrade Bolarinwa has set the tone for a year of unity, progress, and peace in the Ondo State transport sector.
