Governor’s Aide, Hon. Bosun Ogunleye, Engages IFESOWAPO/ ONIMALU, IJOKA on Mobilizing Support for Governor Aiyedatiwa

In a crucial community meeting held last Saturday, Hon. Bosun Ogunleye, the Special Assistant on Mobilization to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, engaged with the residents of the Ifesowapo/ Onimalu, Ijoka Akure.

The meeting centered on rallying support for the upcoming November 16th governorship election while addressing pressing community needs.

During the event, the Chairman of the Onimalu Landlords Association, Mr. Awoniyi Johnson, who also serves as the General Chairman of the association, passionately appealed to the state government on behalf of the community for their pressing needs.

He highlighted the urgent need for infrastructural improvements, particularly the construction of dilapidated roads in the area, which have long hindered accessibility and posed challenges to the community’s quality of life.

In the same way, Mr. Johnson requested the installation of solar-powered street lights to enhance security and visibility and called for the commissioning of a transformer, provided a few years prior by the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), which remains uninstalled.

In response, Hon. Ogunleye acknowledged the community’s concerns, affirming the state government’s commitment to evaluating and addressing these needs. He assured residents that Governor Aiyedatiwa’s administration prioritizes community welfare and development and will look into ways to alleviate these challenges.

Furthermore, he appealed to the residents to support the governor and his deputy in the upcoming election, emphasizing their dedication to continued progress in Ondo State.

In a show of solidarity, the community leaders, along with other residents, pledged their unwavering support for Governor Aiyedatiwa and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the election.
