Ondo APC Women Mega Rally: Tinubu, Key Leaders Rally Support For Aiyedatiwa as Strategic Meetings Heat Up Ahead of Gubernatorial Election
Akure was a sight of unity and political drive as high-profile leaders, including President Bola Tinubu’s daughter, Mrs. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, gathered for the Ondo APC Women Mega Rally, setting the stage for a powerful push toward the November 16th gubernatorial election.
In response to the recent constitution and appointment of the APC Women Mobilization Committee, the team took immediate action, convening a rally that’s set to be the “Mother of All Rallies.”
This large-scale event aims to galvanize support and drive turnout for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his Deputy, Dr. Olaide Adelami, ensuring a robust show of strength and support among female voters across Ondo State.
On Sunday, October 27th, Mrs. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo, alongside notable APC women leaders from across Nigeria, hosted strategic meetings with diverse women groups and key stakeholders. This was designed to ensure seamless mobilization and substantial participation at the upcoming mega rally.
After the meeting, Olori Oyinkansola Aroloye, Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilization, shared her gratitude toward the national leaders who supported this initiative, particularly recognizing Mrs. Tinubu-Ojo’s leadership in rallying support.
“This gathering is a critical step in strategizing how to mobilize women to secure an overwhelming victory for our candidates,” she stated, urging women to take ownership of their political future.
Olori Aroloye also made a compelling call to action, urging all Ondo women to turn out en masse on election day. “Your vote is vital to securing our goal of 35% representation in state political offices,” she emphasized, noting that a victory for Aiyedatiwa and Adelami would mark a significant step forward for women’s political empowerment in Ondo.
