A Child of Destiny, Dr. Samuel Adekola Celebrates 50th Birthday In Special Way
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of His Grace Pharmacy, Pharmacist (Dr.) Samuel Oluwaoromipin Adekola, has rolled out drums to celebrate his golden jubilee birthday in special way.
At the colourful event held within the premises of His Grace Pharmacy complex, Aule Junction, Ilesha Garage, Akure on 29th of May, 2024.
In his short exhortation, Pastor Ola Amuda who took his anchor text from Ps 90 verse 12 said: “We all need to be taught how to number our days for us to make great impacts of life.”
Amuda who is the President of Joybearer Foundation narrated two biblical stories of Moses and that of Jesus Christ saying that the circumstances surrounding the birth of Moses could not allow him to be celebrated but in sharp contrast to that of Jesus Christ whose birth was announced and celebrated from all over the world.
Giving his testimony about Adekola, the immediate past Chairman of PSN, Ondo State, Pharmacist, Mr. Eniola Akindeko said he is a goal getter.
“He is a man of possibility and a man of faith who has been using his resources to serve God.
Also in her comment, the Vice Chairman of PSN, Ondo, Pharmacist Yemi Adayen Akerejola prayed profusely for the celebrant she described as a trail blazer whose impacts in all areas of his Leadership will continue to linger in the minds of people.
While speaking with journalists the celebrant, Dr. Adekola Oluwaoromipin Adekola described his life and adventure as grace of God in demonstration.
In his words: “God has been kind to me in all my endeavours. My story started from experience of my mother who was the second wife of my father. My mother had three children before I was born and none of the three lived to celebrate three years birthdays.
“Within the same circumstances, environment and people I was born and God made me scale through all the challenges. There was a man (a sorcerer) that told my mother that I am going to swallow this your son. My mother decided to take me to his brother who happened to be a pastor in a neighbouring community. I gave my life to Christ which made a huge difference in my life.
“For this 50 years God has been so kind to me in all ramifications. God has been my succour and that is more reason I have to dedicate today to him.
When he was asked his guiding principle that made him to stand tall in all his endeavours, Pharmacist Adekola said said his principle mainly Christ and his love communal interest.
Adekola used opportunity to appreciate all those that contributed to the success of his golden birthday.

THE MAN SAMUEL OLUWAOROMIPIN ADEKOLA IN BRIEF
Born to a farming family of the Okeere quarters in Supare Akoko to his parents; late Pa. Josiah Onitologun Adekola. As the only surviving child of his mother. Samuel spent his early childhood in Akungba, Ondo State with his maternal Uncle, Pa. Adefabi.
He went to Community UPE Primary School, Akungba-Akoko in Ondo State and graduated with a good grade in 1987.
In his quest for academic excellence despite the poor background of his parents and with the encouragement from his Uncle, Pa. Adefabi, who ensured he went to school, he got admitted to Oroke High School, Akungba- Akoko where he finished with distinction in 1993. He went further to gain admission to prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State to study Pharmacy and graduated in year 2000 with a Bachelor Pharmacy degree. Samuel has a master’s in business administration MBA, from Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) in 2007, he later obtained his Doctorate Degree from University of Benin, Edo State.
As a highly motivated, passionate, young energetic self-starter and team builder he has excelled in his chosen career as far back in his NYSC days where he made tremendous impact in Jigawa State. He started as a medical representative after his National Youth Service and later established a His Grace KSP Pharma Limited, a Community Pharmacy providing quality, safe and affordable members to the communities it serves.
He has excelled as a leader of various groups as he possesses great potential to navigate high stress situations, achieve goals on time and under budget with history of recognition for performance.
His experience has a team builder provided him an opportunity to serve in various capacity when he contested the coveted position of Chairman of Nigeria Association of Industrial Pharmacists Ondo State Chapter in 2004 – 2006, at age 30 like “Jesus” in his days who was known all over the world just at his remarkable age. Samuel Adekola since then has contested all elective positions he has held and won while maintaining recognition for his pragmatic actions. He became the National Chairman of Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria, ACPN. In 2006, he conceptualized and co- founded Sunshine Co- Pharm Ltd where he was managing partner from 2006- 2019 and was a board member of Ondo State Hospital Management Board from 2009-2016. He is an award recipient and has numerous certifications as he is passionate about self development.
Samuel as a politician of repute…..”Politics is the concern of everybody with any sense of responsibility, no one should ever pride himself on being not interested in politics”. Prince J.H in the above postulation says it is the concern of everybody with any sense of responsibility, it is on this premises that Pharm. Dr. Samuel Adekola veered into politics. To say Pharm. Samuel Adekola is a politician who believes in openness, fairness and above all, justice is not an overstatement.
These qualities endeared him to many both in the professional and political arena. He has supported the rural dwellers in opening the community and he was widely acknowledged by political associates in different zones of the state. Samuel Adekola is a family man who love his family dearly, the reason his kids call him superdad. He is a mentor to many both spiritually, politically and in the pharmaceutical sector. Above all he is a lover of God and never fail to acknowledge His grace in all his endeavors and achievements.
