It’s a disaster and shameful to all political office holders from the zone not to find solution to the issue of darkness in the district.

The situation is embarrassing and despicable because I continued to wonder if the district is still part of Nigeria because suffering from electricity blackout for the past 15 years has grounded many economic activities in the district “, he said.

The former governorship aspirant wondered why the Senatorial District suffering from electricity power supply, generates electricity in Omotosho Power Plant in Okitipupa Local Government with the capacity of 512.8MW and 451MW Net since 2005, without the people from the district benefitting from the distribution.

Oladunni stated further that, many of the artisans in the communities have painfully jettisoned their work and engaged in other lawful and unlawful businesses because the electricity problem had crippled their work.
