EASTER CELEBRATION: OBA ADEGBEHINGBE ALIU SENDS GREETINGS TO IMAFON INDEGENES AT HOME & ABROAD
His Royal Highness Oba Samuel Adegbehingbe Aliu, the Olumafon of Imafon kingdom in Akure North Local Area of Ondo State Government has sent greetings to the sons and daughters of the town both at home and in diaspora as Christians celebrate another Easter.
Oba Adegbehingbe Aliu who is a lover of his people, made this known in a press release, he made available to the Democrat News Magazine in Akure on Friday 29th of March, 2024.
He used the opportunity to challenge all his people not to allow the current state of the nation’s distress brought about by economic down turn and insecurity affect their well being.
Oba Adegbehingbe Aliu also used this medium to call on Christians across the globe to reflect on the significance of the period of death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
He implored his subjects to endeavour to pray for the advancement of Imafon kingdom, Ondo State and Nigeria at large.
Olumafon noted that there need for the indegenes of the town should be more formidable in attracting development to their father land.
Oba Adegbehingbe used the opportunity to appreciate all those that has been supporting the growth of the Community in no small measure praying that God will continue to bless them and entire People of Imafon kingdom small or great.
In his words: “As we celebrate Easter this year, tet us renew our commitment to building our town Imafon, Ondo State and Nigeria at large, where justice, equity, and prosperity will reign.”
While appreciating the efforts of Government on Education, Oba Adegbehingbe Aliu charged the Government to do more by improving infrastructure in schools, and provide the necessary facilities and resources needed for effective teaching and learning as we as looking in other areas like Agriculture, Health and vital sectors that could drive the economy.
He noted that there is urgent need for government to support farmers with the necessary equipments, security and loans for farmers to have a better life and ensure food security.
