Leaders, Members Of APC In Oke-Aro Ward 8 Declare Support For Aiyedatiwa

Categories of leaders and members of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ward 8, Oke-Aro, Akure, Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State have declare their utmost supports for Governor Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to enable him to continue with his lofty ideas for the good of all and sundry in the state.
The group converged at No 6, Moferere Street, Oke-Aro behind ‘B’ Divion Police Station on March 1st, 2024 for the purpose of sensitizing party faithfuls to support Aiyedatiwa ahead of primaries and general election in Ondo State.
While speaking at the event, the State Leader of the Ward and former members of House of Assembly, Hon. Tayo Abidakun appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa for many of his laudable projects; like Oda roads, Igoba and a host of others that are people oriented work.
Jaja also appreciated Governor Aiyedatiwa for the appointment of one of theirs, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, as his Chief Press Secretary, listed among others, some of the programmes of Aiyedatiwa that have endeared him to the heart of the people of the state.
According to him, in his few months in office as the Governor, Aiyedatiwa has approved the payment of N1.2billion gratuities to pensioners, and also flagged off rural access road including Board Road, Oda, Iju-Itaogbolu, Ifira Akoko and other parts of the State to make life better for people living in rural areas.
Jaja, who declared that he believes strongly in the leadership of Aiyedatiwa, said that when he was a people’s representative at the state, he facilitated development to Oke-Aro and Akure at large.
Hon. Abidakun, who described Aiyedatiwa as a listening governor, praised him for his active roles in developing Akure in terms of his readiness to complete all road projects initiated by the immediate past governor such as Oda road, ijoka road, and Igoba township road among others.
He declared that all APC members in Oke Aro Ward 8 are strongly behind Aiyedatiwa as he pledged their support for him in the forthcoming election.
According to him: “Some of you that have been following me will attest to my efforts in bringing divedends of democracy to our ward here in Oke-Aro;- we facilitated Mother and Child hospital, Oke-Aro road and embarkment of Elegbin river and a host of others.
“When I say I am supporting Governor Aiyedatiwa, you should know what it means. Aiyedatiwa is going to turn things around for our good. Let me say, within this short time came in to the saddle as governor, he gave employment to the you and settle the stakeholders of our party to mention a few.”
While addressing the gathering, former House of Assembly aspirant, and former SA to former Minister, Hon. Bosun Ogunleye said that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the modality to adopt in working for Governor Aiyedatiwa.
He pointed out that all they have been doing in terms of mobilizing for Aiyedatiwa is in line with the directive of SSG, Hon. Tayo Oluwaruyi, ‘Tukana’ being the leader of the party at the central.
Also in a chat with the Democrat News Magazine at the event, the Ward 8 Chairman of APC, Mr. Oluwadare Olanrewaju who used to welcome all the members of the party to the meeting and urged them to work consistently for the success Governor Aiyedatiwa at the upcoming primaries as well as general election.
He expressed confidence in the ability of Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in driving the development of the state saying that they will go back to the verious units to start mobilizing people in support of the Governor Aiyedatiwa.
In his comment, one of the leaders, Mr. Soji Omojagbe urged the members not to be decieved rather they should put all hands on deck for the purpose of promoting Aiyedatiwa to become Governor beyond 2024.
Also former State Secretary of CPC, Hon. Fisayo Falarugbon commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for making frantic efforts to make life more meaningful for all the party members.

Unit Coordinator from Idanre Garage, Mr. Peace Joe made his intention known at the meeting to contribute and support the leadership of the party under Hon. Tayo Abidakun to ensure success of Aiyedatiwa.
Other Party leader at the meeting including Pastor Williams Atibioke , Hon. Muyiwa Adeyeye past Councilor, Hon. Mayowa Owolabi former SA to Governor, Boyede Adebowale- LG EXCO, Hon. Lanre Ojo former councilor, Adebumiti, Mrs. Obassy and Sunkanmi some other categories of people present including, Women Leaders, Units Leaders, leader of Youths across the units.
