Stakeholders In Idanre APC Adopt Aiyedatiwa As Governor Beyond 2024

 

The Major Stakeholders in All Progressives Congress (APC) in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State under the leader of Hon. Sunday Akinwalere, the immediate past Commissioner For Environment have adopted the candidature of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to continue to rule the state beyond 2024.

Categories of people and leader from all 10 political wards converged at the Party’s Secretariat on Friday, February 9, 2024 to declare their support for Aiyedatiwa having been impressed with his loyalty to his former boss, Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and his performance within the short period he came on board as Governor.

They noted that Aiyedatiwa has all it takes to take Ondo State to the next level of greatness sequel to his love and undieing passion for the development of Ondo State.

While speaking with journalists at the venue of the programme, the immediate past Commissioner For Environment, Hon. Sunday Akinwalere said members of Idanre APC came together including NURTW, Okada Riders, Youths leader, women leaders and other categories to drum support for Governor Aiyedatiwa.

“We are here to support Aiyedatiwa, I was a Commissioner under Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, may his soul rest in peace. But within three weeks that Aiyedatiwa came in as Governor things changed , he ordered all Contractors to go back to work and he cleaned up Akure and entire state.

“Indeed Aiyedatiwa is a doyen in terms of Administration, there is no doubt that he is going to perform better if he is elected as governor of Ondo State.

In his words, the Local Government Chairman of APC in Idanre, Hon. Olumide Adeuti: “We don’t want to be an opposition in the government that belong to us, this is the reason we are all gathering together here today to publicly declare our support for Aiyedatiwa.

“Entire membership of APC is in total support of what we are doing here today. We call on all and sundry as we jointly give one hundred percent loyalty to our amiable Governor His Excellency Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

“Aiyedatiwa is a man that reflects his good name. He has been doing well since he came on board as the governor of Ondo State.

“We have decided not to follow lies any more rather to follow the truth and we shall do all in our capacity to support Aiyedatiwa.

In his comment, Barr. (Hon.) Smart Omotadowa said Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has been doing well before the demise of Akeredolu and that since his assumption of office of office he has been performing to the admiration of all and sundry in the state.

He pointed out that God Himself had predestined Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to rule Ondo State saying that there is nothing anyone can do against it.

Balogun of Methodist, Hon. Gbolagun Wale said that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa paid the salary up to date and cleared the arrears of Pensioners and he also promised employ more teachers stressing that they are giving him support to enable him to do more.

Also in his comment, Pastor Marcus Adeuti prayed smooth process of his success at the Primaries and at the general election.

He therefore made known his intention and that of the people of Idanre to work hard for the success of Aiyedatiwa at the polls.

In a chat with the Democrat News Magazine, Architect Idowu Akinseye and Hon. Otunba Akinwalere Ilemobayo said that Idanre people have been support government of the day since the colonial era.

They prayed for his success in all his political endeavours and that he should not forget the road and welfare of the people of the community.

Other leaders of the party in attendant, including Pa. Akingbulugbe, Chairman of all Chairmen, Ogundolure Sunday, Women leader of APC in Idanre, Mrs.Ronke Akindolire, Chief (Mrs.) Lola Sesay, Hon. Taye Akinyele, Hon Idowu Adefioye, former vice Chairman and currently Vice Chairman of Idanre central LCDA, the Chairman of NURTW in Idanre, Adelanke Adebusoye, Chairman of Okada Riders in Idanre, Sunday Akinmolayan and a host of others.
