Approval of 2017 Salary Arrears, Organized Labour Appreciates Governor Aiyedatiwa
The Organized Labour In Ondo State has extended profound gratitude to the governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for approving payment of 2017 salary arrears of workers in the state.
In a Press Statement made available to Newsmen after the meeting with the governor at his office today, 18th of January, the Organized Labour could not but appreciate Governor Aiyedatiwa for this timely intervention.
Also approved is the payment of Pensioners arrears of palliatives for the month of November and December 2023.
Governor Aiyedatiwa sympathized with workers of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo over non-payment of their salary arrears, promising to look into how the payment would be made as soon as possible.
“The entire Organized Labour profoundly appreciates the Governor for his magnanimity towards the welfare of workers on the state mostly at this critical time”.
“His Excellency’s leadership and commitment to the welfare of workers in Ondo State have not gone unnoticed. We commend His Excellency’s dedication to creating an enabling environment for workers which will contribute to overall development of our state”
Organized Labour further thanked Governor Aiyedatiwa for his timely approval and promise for assistance of continuous support in his administration in building a prosperous relationship with Labour Unions in Ondo.
