The former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Lasis Oluboyo has pointed out that his peaceful and supportive roles in politics has made, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa Publicly Acknowledged him.
Aiyedatiwa during his inauguration appreciated good role he played to ensure success in the politics of Ondo State.
While speaking with journalists at Government Office after the inauguration of Mr. Governor, Oluboyo said there is no doubt that Aiyedatiwa will perform well in Ondo State.
In his words: “How I wish Akeredolu was alive to personally handover to Aiyedatiwa he would have said so much of my roles in supporting their leadership.
“Acknowledging me he has not done something special because doing good is part of me.
“In my Quran, it’s stated that we must not allow our leaders to fail or fall. I went to him from time to time and I share with him my little ideas and we thank God he is a listening leader.
“I wonder how someone has three names and they are speaking about success, focus and fortune. There is no doubt that we are going to witnessing new dawn, development and steady growth in all ramifications.
“With all indications, Aiyedatiwa has the experience and political claut to drive the development of Ondo State, all I will have to tell our people is that they should support him to enable him succeed in his leadership adventure, him our future is bright.”
While paying glowing tribute to late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Oluboyo said Ondo State and Nigeria in general has lost a man of courage who had consistent appetite for justice and stood for egalitarianism saying that it will take time to get some one that can fill the vacuum Akeredolu left.
He prayed for special grace of God for Ondo State people to bear the irreparable loss in death Arakurin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN CON.
