Encomiums As Ven. Emmanuel Akosile Celebrates Retirement After 38 Years Of Service

The Presiding Priest of St. James’ Anglican Church, Oda, in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State, Venerable Emmanuel Omoniyi Akosile has bowed out of the service of Anglican Communion, Akure Diocese after 38 years of meritorious service in the vine yard of God.
At the thanksgiving service in his honour on Friday 29th of December, 2023 where notable individuals converged to celebrate his forthrightness and dedication to the work of God.
While speaking with the Democrat News Magazine at the Church premises, his younger brother, Pastor Olawale Akosile described his brother as a man of prayer who has been very consistent in the service of the Lord from his youth.
Also in his comment, the Chairman of Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) who is also the priest in Charge of St. William’s Catholic Church, Oda, appreciated the leadership qualities which he said brought stability in to Christians folds in the community.
Obebe Omosehin, the Vice Chairman CAN in Oda and the Shepherd of Celestial Church, Inioluwa Pariah, Oda commended the leadership skills of Venerable Emmanuel Akosile saying that he would be consulted from time to time to share his wealth of experience with the them that are still in the active service of the Lord.
Obebe noted that his tenure has CAN Chairman has ushered tremendous improvement into the Christian Association in the community.
Also in his comment, Mr. Ezekiel Oladele Bello rejoiced with the family of Venerable Emmanuel Akosile over qualitative leadership and service to humanity.
Mr. Bello described the family of Venerable Emmanuel Akosile as worthy ambassador whose quality life is worthy of emulation.
While speaking with the Democrat News Magazine and other media organizations at the occasion Venerable and Mrs. Emanuel Omoniyi Akosile used the opportunity to thank God a great deal for seeing them through all the thick and thin since he started the work of God.
The couple said that they have never worked in the State Capital in their 38 years of service saying that they have joy working where God the desired for them to work.
They pointed out that after retirement they have to rest and have more time to pray for their children, nations and loved ones.
They called on men and women of God to always stay where God wants them to be and to serve God genuinely with all their hearts saying that God will reward them in a glorious way.
Akosiles use the medium to thank all those who came to grace the occasion from far and wide.
After a befitting thanksgiving service a reception like canival was held at DOT event Centre opposite Sailo along Oda road, Akure where guests were entertained with assorted food and drinks.
