Yuletide: Gbenga Fawehimi Foundation Put Smiles On Faces Of People In Ondo

The Founder of Gbenga Fawehimi Foundation, a Non-Governmental Charity Organization based in Ondo State, Nigeria, Mr. Gbenga Fawehimi has put smiles on the faces of various categories of people in Ondo City as part of his yearly benevolence towards the down trodden in the society.
The multi million naira empowerment programme being the 2023 edition of his Corporate Social Responsibility include the distribution of 1000 reflective jackets to Okada Riders, variaties of food for over 500 families as to cushion effect of the present economic hardship on the people of the community.
Gbenga Fawehimi Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization NGO registered with mandate to empower less privileged people in the society.
According to the Founder, “Gbenga Fawehinmi Foundation (GFF) was founded in 2016 in response to the lack of resources and support available to vulnerable children and youths in Ondo State, Nigeria. Since then, we have made a significant impact in the lives of thousands of children and youths, providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.
“GFF came about to close some of the socio-economical gaps in the Nigerian society. UNICEF, for instance, estimates that one in every five of the world’s out-of-school children is in Nigeria. This is so even though education is free in Nigeria but still unaffordable for the less-privileged.
He has renewed committed to his mission of mentorship and giving of scholarships to indigent students in the coming year, 2024 in a more elaborate way saying that his mentorship will cover the nooks and crannies of Ondo West and East Local Government Areas.
Speaking on the rationale behind the empowerment, kind gesture and formation of the Foundation that has been rolling out Empowerment for the people yearly, Cheif Executive Officer (CEO) of the Foundation, Mr. Banji Fawehimi said giving back to his community has been the heart desire of the Founder from his youth.
He pointed out that the core vision and mission of the Foundation is to provide assistance for different categories of people, helping the needy in the society and to support for the less privileged individuals to enable them achieve their dreams and aspirations in life .
Some of the materials distributed include rice yams and soup ingredients among others welfare packages in all worth millions of Naira.
