EKSU Alumni Association Mourns Akeredolu, Commiserates with Member, Oba Gbadegesin Ogunoye
The Alumni Association of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti received, with shock, the news of the demise of His Excellency, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON.
The Global President, Engr Dipo Bamisaye fnse, fnice, on behalf of the Board of Trustee (BoT), Eminent Persons Group (EPG) and all members of the Association worldwide yesterday in Ado Ekiti, while addressing the Press, expressed deep condolences to the Akeredolus family, that the departed Governor actually live a well fulfilled life not only for his family and kinsmen, but also the entire humanity.
The President observed that Gov. Akeredolu traversed and impacted positively on various sectors of the Nigeria society.
He alluded to the courage and resilience of the late governor in any pursuit he believed in and that his death, no doubt, is a collosal loss to the nation, Ondo State and particularly to Owo Kingdom in Ondo State.
“His space might be too difficult to fill correctly”.
The President took solace in the fact that Arakunrin Akeredolu lived well and all are indebted to death, stressing that he has left a legacy to emulate.
The Association therefore commiserates with an Eminent, committed and Royal Member of the Association, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, the Olowo of Owo Kingdom and his subjects on the loss of this illustrious son, praying a lifting for the Kingdom.
He also commiserates with the the people of Ondo State and the nation on the unfortunate incidence.
He specially mourned with members of the Association in Ondo State praying against the reoccurence of such in future and the fortitude to bear the sudden loss.
He expressed that H.E Akeredolu would be dearly missed for his pivotal role at ensuring security of life and property in the southwest with his unprecedented efforts at ensuring the existence of Amotekun Security Network.
