Hon. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye former Commissioner For Works and Member of SUBEB has congratulated Ireshi of Osi, Oba David Olajide and the entire people of the community on the occasion of first Osi Day.
Hon. Ogunleye made this known while speaking with the Democrat News Magazine in the community last week Saturday described Oba Olajide as a well loved Oba who used his talents and resources for the Development of Osi community and Ondo State by extension.
While speaking with journalists Oba Olajide pointed out that he decided to name his first coronation anniversary Osi Day because it was the day Mr. Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu gave the community crown first of it’s kind in the history of Osi that has been for over 600 years.
Oba Olajide said that by the special Grace of God the community will experience unprecedented development under his leadership more than what they have witnessed in the time past.
He therefore called on all the sons and daughters of the community to join hands to move the town forward.
Akapinsa of Ipinsa and Asinigbo of Isinigbo who came to rejoice with Oba Olajide said there is need to join hands to move Ondo State forward.
As part of the celebration was the installation of some Chiefs for their good works in the society.
