FGGS Holds Valedictory Service As Students Charge On Dedication To Great Future
Students have been encouraged to be more focus and ambitious in whatever they do especially in their academics .
the charge was given to the students during the 2022/2023 graduation/valedictory service and decorations of new prefects of Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School, Akure, Ondo State recently.
In her opening address, the school Principal, Mrs O. T Ojoge welcomed all the invited guests, parents, teachers, and non teaching staff and the students. As she titled this year graduation “Peculiar Jewels” as she was overwhelmed by the students behaviors and commitment to the school. She urged the outgoing students to always remember who they are and remain the best.
She used the medium to honored three exceptional students that scored the highest in Jamb on behalf of Fiwasaye Old Girls Association (FOGA) Lagos branch with cash gift of #25000.
The outgoing head prefect, Oluwafunmilayo Arogbonlo in her speech to the students and said, “competition and life are not predictable”.
School is not just about reading and writing alone but is more of discovering which requires perseverance. She urged her fellow graduands to be confident in what they do and she has this confidence in them that they will achieve their goals, and never to forget what they learned at Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School.
To the juniors, she urge them to always keep moving no matter the circumstances or situations they find themselves so they too can celebrate their achievement.
The new prefects were sworn in as they exchange batton from the outgoing prefects.
In his farewell message to the outgoing students. Special Adviser to the Governor ,Hon. Muyiwa Ogunyomi urged them to be a good ambassador of the citadel anywhere they find themselves. They should go out and break records, they should remain focus and ambitious in life never to let down their guard.
The graduands were sworn in on 12th of October as the Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association (FOGA) accepted and welcomed them warmly.
