St. Michael’s Catholic High School Akure Graduates 248 Students

St. Michael’s Catholic High School Akure in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State under the management of Mr. Adeniyi Oluyide has turned out no fewer than 248 students of the school having successful completed six years course of studies.

At the valedictory Ceremony organized in honour of the 2022/2023 set, the Principal of the school, Mr. Adeniyi Oluyide said it was 504 pupils that were admitted into the school in 2017 but only 248 were so lucky to complete their tenure of studies in the school.

This according to him called for celebration and appreciation to God who saw them through.

He noted that the quality of education and morals embedded in them is enough for future challenges and to enable them compete favourable with their contemporaries anywhere in the world.

Oluyide charged them to always remember virtues the school inculcated into them and endeavour to shun societal vices but rather live Gold life.

In the same way, he congratulated parents present at the occasion saying that they should not relent their efforts on advisory roles over the children until they turn out good.

The principal commended Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Pastor Femi Agagu and the PS  for the contributions towards advancement of education in the state.

He used medium to call on Old Students’ Association to come to their aid in area of Structure and support for the running of the school.

Also in an interview with journalists the Chairman of PTA of the School, Pastor Clement Akinnusoye attested to the quality of education in the school and admonished the graduating students to keep faith with all they have been taught since their first day in the school till they passed out.

In her sermon entitled ‘take heed’, Pastor (Mrs.) Owajulaye encouraged them to shun distraction from worldliness and company of disorderly people.

While challenging them to invest in their future positively she said time is the greatest asset in the school of creativity and that the should restrain from any friend that t will not add value to them for they will definitely reduce their values.

As part of the highlight of the event were ewi presentation, special song rendition, drama presentation, and other multitasking shows demonstrated by the students of the school.
