PASTOR ADEREMI OSHO BAGS DOCTORATE HONOUR ON TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP

Goodman Soteria Academy Of Theology, an International Non- Denominational Organization has confered , Doctor of ministry in Transformational Leadership on Pastor Samuel Aderemi Osho.

Pastor Osho is one of the old Students of St. Thomas’s Anglican Comprehensive High School, Akure Ondo State was decorated at the celebration of their 38th years reunion and fundraising on Friday 18th of August, 2023.

The event planned by the old students of St Thomas’s Anglican Comprehensive High School, Akure under the chairmanship of Prof. Steve Dahunsi on August 18th,2023 at Goodness Hall Agagu Road, off Aule Akure, Ondo State.

In his remarks, the Chairman Organizing Committee, Pastor Aderemi Osho, who thanked God for the opportunity to serve in that capacity despite the pressing challenges before him.

He said ” we are gathering together today to bring about unity, oneness, and togetherness of Old Students of our great school as to see how to foster development.

“The reunion is to help the next generation to have access to opportunity and quality education in a conducive environment.

Speaking on scholarships for 50 students by International Way of Life Church under the programme of the Church called BENEVOLENCE he pointed out that the senior Pastor of the Church Pastor David Osho promised to expand the scope the scholarships.

While presenting his Key Note address, Chairman of the occasion, Professor Ola Steve Dahunsi, thanked organizers of the event saying that it would afford members of the Old Students Association to come together after many years that some of them left the school.

“We are to reflect the following: where you are should not deter your progress, God does not promise you failure, taking your destiny by your hands and what can you be remembered for.

“We are also reflecting on those who have left us and we should rally supports for their family members.

Secretary of reunion committee, Laide Otuyemi said they are going to build the school and human capacities.

“We exist to help humans for what God give us is not for us alone, this necessitates scholarship for 50 students of the school.

Speaking at the event, Hon (Dr) Olumuyiwa Adu said: “How poor are they that are not patient, this school has been waiting for the right time like this. We are challenged by this particular gesture by an individual that gave scholarships to 50 students. we need to support this gesture.

Oba Oluwagbenga Ojo expressed joy on those who gave scholarships to the student and called on others to emulate good works to make the society a better place to live in.

Hon. Oguntodu Gbenga on his part promised to facilitate development of his people saying that government alone can not meet all the pressing needs of Education.

Some of the personalities present at occasion including Oba Oluwagbemiga Ojo, Iralepo of Isinkan, Mrs Bunmi Ademosun, Special Assistant to Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Evang Faromo, Dr Olumuyiwa Adu, Dr Ige Director of the school, who represented Commissioners for Education, Pastor Femi Agagu and a host of others.
