Bofoat Model Group of Schools Celebrates 2023 Academic Session In Grand Style

It was a special valedictory service for the Bofoat Model Group of Schools, Ugbe Akoko, in Akoko North East Local Government, area of Ondo State, during the 2023 academic session recently.
The glamorous event was celebrated at the school premises with the parents whose children are products of the school, testified to its excellent academic performance since the school was established.
A parent who confessed to have been part of the school for about 18years, said, so far, so good, the school has been excellent.
“I have been able to train three of my children in this school, the first born, who has gained admission into Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, really impressed me which encouraged me to bring others”.
Earlier in his welcome address; the Director cum Proprietor of the Schools, Mr.Moturayo Babalola, thanked God for how far the school had fare in the past years of its establishment by his father.
He declared that ” the 2023 valedictory service is a special one. When i took over the mantle of leadership of this great schools seven years ago, the school was not known in academic circles.
But today, with the helped of God, management, teachers, staff and parents, Bofoat Model Group of Schools, had been known for academic excellence internationally.
We have been able to represent both the state and country in many competitions and won a lot of laurels”.
Babalola thanked the schools management, teachers, staff and parents for their support in taking the school to stardom.
He however expressed his gladness over the achievements and impacts the school had recorded, saying his decision to expend his energy and knowledge on the school in the face of mockery was never a mistake.
In his address, the chairman of the occasion, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, who was represented by the Secretary of Akoko North East, Elder Abiola Amuda said, he was impressed with the achievements the schools had recorded so far.
” I was impressed with the achievements the schools had recorded so far. With what I saw today is a monumental success.
“The schools is going higher everyday. In the area of science, they were excellent. I will urged the government of Ondo State to encourage science students by providing them with necessary tools to enhance their studies “.
As in usual, the event featured presentation of certificates of excellent performance to students who clinched first to third positions from JSS1- SS2.
Also, a gift was given to the best outgoing students from SS3 who made the schools proud in international competitions for 2023 academic session.
A prizes were given to best performing students in every subjects.
The colourful event was fun-filled as it served as a moment of relaxation for guests and parents who were entertained with choreography, traditional dance in Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo by the students.
The programme was rounded up with prayers for the graduates and presentation of testimonials.
The graduating students, while presenting their farewell song, appreciated the school management, teachers,and parents for contributing to their success story by impacting them with global educational standard discipline.
