The immediate past Ondo State Surveyor General and Permanent Secretary, Chief (Surv.) Rotarian Semiyu Abiodun Adigun has made his intention to move the Rotary Club of Akure to the next level where it will be cynosure of all eyes.
Rotarian Adigun who was newly appointed as the President Akure Rotary Metro, made this known while speaking with journalists at the fellowship of the club held at Hostwell Hotel Ijapo, in Akure recently.
Adigun said he has passion for service to Humanity which he said prompted him to join the club as far back as 1991 when he was a student.
In his words: “By the special grace of God I have been consistent in my duties as Club Secretary, Finance Director and now as President because I believe in service to Humanity I will make my rotary year the best.
“There is blessing in giving than receiving, I shall see to it that people of the downtrodden get succour during my rotary year.”
Some of the members who spoke at the fellowship center appreciated Abiodun Adigun for his philanthropic contributions of over #10 Million towards the advancement Rotary Club of Akure.
They also used the medium to sincerely call on all members to support him as he would be driving the development of the club for another year.
