The leadership of Kajola Motor Spare Parts Association popularly known as Motor Butcher situated at Industrial Park Onyearugbulem, Akure in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State has called for help of government in the area of water supply and that they should be considered for cars auction.
The Chairman of the Association Mr. Oyekanmi Rafiu (Iyeru Okin) made this call while speaking with journalists at the premises of Industrial Park Onyearugbulem Akure on Tuesday July 4th 2023 saying that the association has been in existence for over 50 years with over 500 members.
He therefore used the medium to make known the operation of the Association in the state as a legitimate one stressing that members of Kajola Motor Spare Parts Association popularly known as Motor Butcher never engaged in shady businesses.
Oyekanmi Rafiu (Iyeru Okin) pointed out that his members never purchased vehicles without proper documentation and that their members are well trained to know the kind of vehicle they are to buy so that to they will not fall victims of illegal property.
In the same way, Oyekanmi Rafiu (Iyeru Okin) charge the members of the association to show high level of dedication to their business and be law abiding as they are awaiting government to meet their basics needs in the area of provision of water and security.
Also in his comment, the General Secretary of the Association, Mr. Balogun Dayo who also informed the journalists that Deji of Akure Oba helped the entire members of the association to have peace over the removal a man that has been giving them problems in the area.
“We are using this opportunity to thank His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Ogunlade Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure. If not for his decision to remove the man that called himself representative of the palace at the park we wouldn’t have been at peace by now.
“While we are thanking Kabiyesi, we are also using this medium to say that we are pleased with the decision of Kabiyesi over the park,” Mr. Balogun added.
Also corroborated all that have been said so far, the Public Relations Officer (PRO), Hon. Adewehin Taiwo said members of the association are expecting borehole, and other social amenities from government of Ondo State to enable them live decent lives.
Hon. Adewehin Taiwo advised the members to corporate with the leadership of the association as to fast track development.
Some of the executive members present at the occasion include Folorunso Kayode- Assistance Secretary, Folowosele Omowale- Comment Chairman, Olanrinre Rufus- Organizing Secretary, Adelowo Seyi- Treasurer, Olamiosegbe Immanuel and a host of others.
