Students and youths have been called upon to embrace lives of dedication and devotion to God that is able to make their visions come to pass.
The call came to students and youths as the Redeemed Schools in Ondo State joined their counterparts across states of the federation to observe 2023 Founder’s Day (Redeemer’s Day). The founder’s day that was held within the premises of Christ Redeemer International Secondary School (CRISSA), Oda, Road, Akure, Ondo State on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 accompanied with many sporting activities, Arts and Science exhibitions and a host of others.
Delivering the of the Mother-in-Israel, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the Wife of the Pastor in Charge of Region 22, Pastor Mrs. Ajibade noted that every devoted child must be willing to surrender everything to God and to put God first in all things.
She pointed out that children and youths should emulate devotions exhibited by biblical Joseph, Samuel, Esther, Daniel, John, Timothy which made them great during their lifetimes.
She used the medium to charge the students and the youths at all levels make holiness their watch word in their day to day adventures.
Parents, teachers and pastors were also called upon to teach, encourage, provide and be good role models for the younger generations
While speaking with the Democrat News Magazine and other journalists, the Head of School, CRISSA, Deaconess Akinsoto Modupe said the celebration affords the students, and all the stakeholders opportunity to come together to thank God for the numerous successes recorded in all the redeemed schools in Ondo State and beyond.
Akinsoto who is also a retired Principal, said: “We used this occasion to appreciate God for the life of our father in the Lord; Daddy Adeboye, he clocked 81 years on 3rd of March, God used him to institute Christ Redeemer’s Schools from primary the university level. Today is the founder day.
“Some people have passed through our schools in the mission and they are doing fine today in their various places of endeavours. One of the schools in Akure here is a free school- the pupils do not need to pay for anything, uniform and all other things are given free.
When asked the magic for the excellent performances of the schools, she said the fear of the Lord and honesty in their operations made them stand out in all their exams stressing that the students of the school don’t cheat in exams.
At the end of the activities the students, teacher and parents took their turn to give thanks to God and the Regional Pastor, Elijah Ajibade crowned the occasion with special blessing.
