Aquinas, St. Louis Principals Set For Academic Excellence As Schools Resume 2nd Term

The Principal of Aquinas College, Akure, Mr. Adebisi  Jimbola and his counterpart in St. Louis Girls’ Grammar School Akure, Mrs. Omobolanle Mabel Antete have made known their readiness to advance excellence of their various schools this new term.

They made this known while speaking with journalists in their offices on Tuesday January 10, 2022.

On his part, Mr. Jimbola said Aquinas College under his leadership is doing all to ensure that the bar of excellence high in the New Year.

In his words: “In our school here, we are known for excellence not only in the area of academic much more in the areas of sports, technology and competitions.

“Last year, we recorded 96% performances of students in WAEC. By the special grace of God this year our students will get 100% in the WAEC exams.

Speaking on the gesture of Mr. Governor on payment of WAEC fees for all students, Jimbola noted that the gesture will go along way to help many families that are not well to do in Ondo State.

He charged the teachers and the students to reciprocate the gestures of Mr. Governor.

On her part, Mrs. Antete made known her plans for the school which she said have been producing great harvests.

She pointed out that students of the great citadel of learning have been representing Ondo State well in all ramifications.

While commending Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi over the elongation of the service years of teachers, she also called for more employment to be able help younger generation of teachers to learn from the experienced ones before they are out of service.

Antete said that Mr. Governor paid over #500 million for SSS 3 students of Secondary Schools in Ondo State saying that its commendable and charged the students to make good use of the ample opportunity.
