Ever-Shine Films, Travels and Tours, one of the leading travelling agents in Nigeria who through selfless and honesty services becomes an household name. In this interview with the Democrat News Magazine, Prince Ijiti Samuel Aanu, spoke on how the organization has been making impacts on Nigerian youths for the past 18 years of its establishment among sundry issues.

CAN WE MEET YOU SIR?
My name is Prince Ijiti Samuel Aanu. I am the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Ever-Shine Film, Travels and Tours Nigeria Limited. We are situated at number 280 adjacent First Molac, Ondo Road, Akure.
We have been in this business for the past 18 year. We are using the same office; we only acquired more space for our office and accommodations.
CAN YOU TELL US SPECIFICALLY, WHAT IS YOUR AREA OF SPECIALIZATION IN TRAVELS AND TOURS?
Thank you very much, our area of specialization in the field of travels and tours; we started with America Visa Lottery. We help people to play America Visa Lottery and at the end of the day, many people won through our company and we helped them processed their Visas. When they stopped Nigerians from participating in America Visa Lottery we concentrated on Study visa and tourist visa to America, Canada, UK, Europe and Mauritius one of the African Countries.
All our clients always travel without any problem because we give them proper monitoring from the first time they come to our office until they get to their various destinations. Even at the point of entry, we will still call them to ensure that someone properly takes them to their hotel rooms or their place of abode.
In the area of travels and tours; We are in for study and tour- tourist visa, work permit. We specialize in five countries- America, Canada, UK, European Countries and Schengen Countries and Mauritius.
IN WHAT WAY IS YOUR ORGANIZATION HELPING YOUTHS?
By the grace of God, we have been able to help some youths especially during the America Visa Lottery; we did a lot to help them find their paths in life. During our 15th Anniversary we showed at least 15 people we have helped to travel abroad. We procured visas for them and today they are doing well in their respective countries of choices.
About three years ago, we rolled out a programme, you just needed N400, 000 to travel under my leadership as CEO of Ever-Shine Travels and Tour. Many people are begging us to repeat the programme, we are still working on it.
We also have agenda to help some people to travel for study and to work, when they are working they will repay.
FOR THOSE WHO ARE INTO SPORTING ACTIVITIES, DO YOU HAVE PACKAGE FOR THEM?
Yes, we are packaging visa for people that are into sporting activities. For sport lovers that are in Qatar we processed their traveling package. About two months ago, we did for those who went to Egypt to watch football.
IN WHAT WAY DO YOU THINK GOVERNMENT AND WELL TO DO PEOPLE CAN BE OF HELP TO YOUR ORGANIZATION?
Thank you so much, government can be of help to us in many ways, most of the traveling agents have the mind to do good to people, and we need Federal and State Governments to assist us with letters to embassies. If they see letter from government the embassies have no option but to honour it and release visas. In the same way, government should be readily support some civil servants to attend capacity building seminars abroad. In the same way, people can go through the government to study abroad; it could be a vocational training etc.
WHAT ARE YOUR CHALLENGES ON THE JOB FOR THE PAST 18 YEARS?
Our challenges were minimal before the advent of Covid-19. Many agents were drawn into bad debts and still not known the way out. Covid really caused great havoc on Traveling Industries. We applied for many visas especially Canada, some clients passports are yet to be released from Embassies. Many of them bought tickets and were not allowed to travel.
We prayed that we will not see such problem of Covid again.
Let me also use this opportunity to call on well meaning companies to come to our aid by giving us support with necessary documents and in the area of proof of fund for students’ visa. Government can also make fund available in the bank with little or no interest for the students to access.
WHAT IS YOUR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR MESSAGE TO ALL YOUR CLIENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRIES OF THE WORLD?
Let me use this season to send my warm greetings to all my lovely clients all over the world and I want to particularly greet people that are patronizing Ever-Shine Travels and Tours Limited from South Africa and Nigeria. It is my sincere prayer that God will protect them and they will never lack.
Also let me use this medium to thank and appreciate my clients from Ondo and Ekiti States, people who put their trust in our organization. As you known that people don’t trust agents as a matter of fact they don’t even like agents but there is no way they can do without agents.
Our job maybe delayed a little because of the challenges of Covid-19 pandemic yet they trust us. We appreciate them a great deal.
