Unknown gunmen reportedly shot a soldier dead at Clerks Quarters, Ijebu Owo in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State yesterday night.
The soldier whose name was not known was a security personnel appointed to a white man in charge of road construction in the area.
He was shot in a close range attack on head and died.
While he was in the pool of his blood the construction work was whisked away to unknown destination.
The eyes witnesses said after some times the police and other security men came to the scene of the event.
They said the ugly incident happened at about 6:30 pm on Wednesday.
