It was an atmosphere praises to God and torrents of accolades as Mr. Omoroke Lawrence Boluwaduro, the Principal of St. Francis High School, Oke-Aro, Akure bowed out of active service of Ondo State Government after 35 years of service without blemish.
His retirement and send off ceremony was held recently at the school premises as notable people from all walks life grace the occasion.
While having a chat with the Democrat News Magazine and other journalists Omoroke said: “I thank God for helping me to do the work and retired peacefully. I took teaching as a career and I was fulfilled because any time I look back and see how many of my students that are doing well in various callings and professions, it gives me joy.
“Now that I am living active service of Ondo State government, I want to go into business and to serve God more.
He said since he started the job unto the point of retirement he did not have any form of difficulties. “I started my teaching career from Oyemekun Grammar School and I was putting in my best and I was loved by the students, till my retirement day I find it pleasurable to work as a teacher”.
Omoroke used the medium to charge those who are still in the active service be dedicated and pray for successful retirement as well and that they should do all things as unto God who will reward them for their dedication.
Also speaking with the journalists, the wife of the celebrant, Mrs. Oluwakemi Omoroke appreciated God for the successful retirement her husband despite his health challenges
According to her, now that my husband has left the Civil Service, I pray that God will continue to keep him and entire members of the family and that God will give him grace to enjoy all his entitlements.
“I have always been praying that God should continue to guide him and help him in all areas of life after his retirement.
In his good will message, the elder brother to the celebrant, Mr. Augustine Omoroke said: “My brother is loved by people right from his youths. Whenever he is not at home, everywhere will be dry, but immediately he returned from school people will troupe into our house in large number.
“He is a lover of education and teaching profession anytime he wanted to eat and those students he used to teach came around he will have to drop his food and teach them before he returned to his food.
“We are not so surprise to hear all the accolades and encomiums pour out on him today he has been demonstrating all these good qualities from his childhood.
Also in his comment, the Vice Principal Academic, Mr. Menawonu Frederick Olusegun described him as a humble, dedicated, and unassuming and prayed that God will prosper him in all his endeavours.
The younger brother of the celebrant, Mr. Obe Mather Olorunwa described his brother as a man of integrity who has weathered the storm in service God and mankind.
“He has touched many lives using his teaching profession as an instrument to change the world positively. It is my prayer for him today that God will prosper him and make him enjoy his labour.
One of the students of the School, Miss Ogundele Olayemi described Omoroke as a father who is kind to all the students and shows them secret of success in life.
Mr. Ogunsuyi Idowu Ojo said: “I have known him for 39 years now he was very intelligent, obedient, dedicated and he radiates love anywhere he goes.
“You can only stand on a tripod of hard work, humility and honesty, if you have these you can go to places. Mr. Omoroke has all these qualities and it is my prayer that God will grant him long life to enjoy all he had labored for in life.
One of the church members, Mr. Ajayi Gabriel Ayodele said: “Mr. Omoroke was posted to our church in about 10 years ago; it was about the time I was getting tired of the situation in the church.
Mr. Omoreke provided solution to all the problems and he encouraged all the members and he built the church to a befitting standard.
