HOW LIVE STOCKS FARM WORTH N50 MILLION DESTROYED IN IPINSA

..As Pst. Adeleke in search for justice

Live stocks farm of Pastor Gabriel Ayobamidele Adeleke worth over fifty million naira (N50 million) has been allegedly destroyed by some unscrupulous elements at Ipinsa community in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State.

As pastor Adeleke therefore made known his readiness to drag the perpetrators and their accomplices to court of law in search for justice over an alleged destruction of his lives stocks farm.

Adeleke who is a pastor of Christ Apostolic Church, (CAC), Jos DCC under the leadership Pastor Alagbe, said to have been transferred to Jos from CAC, Oke-Ife, DCC Headquarters, Challenge, Ibadan, Oyo State.

While narrating his ordeal to the Democrat News Magazine in Akure, Ondo State capital, pastor Adeleke said he was cheated by some people in Ipinsa community as they killed his turkeys, goats, Noila, broiler and local Fowls and vandalized his house as well.

He therefore called on relevant authorities in Nigeria to come to his aid to ensure justice saying that his fundamental human right was infringed upon and the means of livelihood of his aged mother had been cut off.

According to him “When I was transferred to Jos in 2017 I told my mother to go to Ibadan to bring all the lives stocks which including Kalari red Goats, Turkeys, Broilers, Noilas, Local Fowls and Guinea Fowls in large numbers.

“She employed a bus to bring all of them to Akure to rear and we gathered money to build a pen at Oke-Ogba and the business has increased over the years.

“It is from the proceeds of the farm that my mother has been making her earning.

“Since she has been selling the animals, I don’t have much stress of looking for money to send to her and as a pastor I have to work not to be a burden to the church members or engage myself in sharp-practices because of what I want to eat.

“I bought two plots of land in October 2014 from the family of Elemo where Sunday Adebusuyi, Olori Odo (Youth leader) of Ipinsa land was the family representative.

Pastor Adeleke said apart from the two plots he also paid additional N100,000 for the set back of about 15 metres to Mr. Adebusuyi in the presence of his son (Sunday) and did the survey plan together.

He noted that he built a small house on the land for his mother and used other part of the land for live stocks farming under the watch of his mother.

In his words: “Some times last year, we saw two people that came to our environment claiming that they have sold the set back to them and the access road to my second plot. I told them with evidence of the lay out with me, that government will not approve access road for anyone as residential building.

“That was the beginning of all these crises. They all connived together to cook up many lies against me, that I was threatening the community with dogs and they went to radio and television in a special programme named “Aye ree” to speak against me.

“My name was everywhere and the people in our Church and other places where I am known they are dissociating from me because of what they said about me in the media.

“I have the evidence of voice recording with me, how the traditional ruler of the community himself was threatening, saying he will make me to sell my house in any amount and live the town.

“Police investigated the matter and they discovered I have not committed any crime. I only told them they cannot build on the river path to prevent the future of the community from the problem of flood.

“They went ahead to poison all the goats and made away with many of the live birds when we were not at home.

“When Inspector Anthony from Okutaelerinla went with me to the palace, Oba Olufunmilayo confirmed he was aware of the woman and her husband that made away with Turkey and fowls.

“After spurious argument between them in the palace on that day, they concluded that the turkey and other birds they took from my compound are dead. But they could not show us the evidence of their claim.

“This is more reason I have to approach the Fighter For Human Right Services under the leadership of Oba Adewunmi Babalola (JP) to seek for justice over this matter.

“We have lost many things because of this action and my mother was not happy since then. Therefore I am calling for full compensation of N50 Million as a result of untold hardship on me and my aged mother that came as a result of their action.
