PDP Primaries: Hon. Adu Wins With 98 Votes

 

The primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)  for Akure North/Akure South Federal Constituency, bye election was held on Thursday, 3rd February, 2022 as Hon. Olugbenga Adu win with 98 Votes.

The election was held at Amazing Place Event Centre, along Oda road, Akure to choose a candidate to fly the party’s flag at the general election.

The election was conducted under the Chairmanship of Dr.Amos Fawole.

Two hundred and forty (240) delegates from Akure North and Akure South Local Governments participated in the excerise.

Dr. Falowo said arrangements have been put in place to make the it transparent, credible, free and fair.

He charged  all delegates to conduct themselves in an orderly manner, vote and leave the venue of the Primaries.

Other electoral committee members are, Hon.  Adamu from Niger State, Dr Muhammed from Yobe State,  Soji from Lagos State and Hon. Kenet

At the the end the whole process the candidates polled the following votes.

1.Hon. Dayo Awude -16 votes

2. Hon. Babatunde Faro -40 votes

3.Hon. Kemi Adesanya -70 votes

4.Barr. Adu Olugbenga-98 votes

5. Hon. Adebayo Alarapon -8 vote.
