The secretary on the board of Ondo State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Dr. Victor Koledoye has congratulated Mr. Sam Ereduwa on his appointment by Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as the new chairman of the board.
Ereduwa was described as a man of competence with solid educational background and large capacity to drive the development of mandate areas.
Koledoye made the call while speaking with journalists at Blissword hotel, Alagbaka, Akure during a grand reception organized for the new chairman and board members of OSOPADE.
Koledoye expressed appreciation to the Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for appointing new board chairman and members for OSOPADEC which he said it is a step in right direction as they would deploy their expertise to meet the huge expectations of the people.

He charged the people of the mandate areas to join hand with the new members of the board to enable them perform stressing that it is only under a peaceful atmosphere they can achieve good success.
In his words: “I will just appeal to our people in the mandate areas – Ilaje / Ese Odo – Apoi and Arogbo that though the expectation is high collectively and at individual level, let us be patient with the new board. Since the announcement was made, the new chairman has been hammering on working as a team to achieve set goals.
He also used the medium to enumerate the challenges of combining administrative work with office of the chairman before the appointment of the new board members.

Also speaking with Journalists (Dr.) Bayo Ilawole, a Director of Local Government Administration commended the appointment of Erejuwa which he described as round peg in round hole.
In his words: “I know Mr. Sam Erejuwa very well, his appointment is an appropriate one. There is no doubt that he would turn situation around for the people of mandate area. We know that the expectations of people are high still we belive he will not let down the entire people of the mandate areas.
Dr. Ilawole congratulated Erejuwa and other members of the board of OSOPADEC and pray for the success of their tenure and that they should endeavour to leave good works and good names behind after their tenure of office.
