‘Government Should Encourage Private Schools By Way Of Tax Reduction’ – Rev. Gbadebo

Governments at all levels have been called upon to encourage owners of private schools by reducing the level of taxes payable by them since they are playing complementary role to the government.

The Founder, General Overseer and Presiding Reverend of Godliveth Worldwide Ministry, Rev (Dr.) Soji Gbadebo made this call while speaking with journalists in his office recently.

Gbadebo who is also a proprietor of a reputable school in Ondo, called on government to encourage the private schools by way of tax reduction since private schools are complementing government in the area of education and employment.

Gbadebo said he pays over N1.5 million monthly to cater for the staff of his schools adding that private schools absorbed many youths from unemployment market.

He also called for rules and regulations to check the way some parents take their children from one school to another without proper settlement from the previous schools.

He pointed out that government should help in putting measures in place to check indiscriminate movement without transfer certificate.

His words for the students at resumption he said: “I told our students on resumption that they should guard their destiny jealously. Devil will not attack any meaningless destiny; he will look for glorious ones.

“It is only God that can help them and they must also be in tune with God.

He used the opportunity to pray profusely for all the students and cancelled all satanic agenda in their lives in the New Year and he charged the students to patiently wait and follow the agenda of God for their lives.

He also pointed out they are going to study more this year and call on all the stakeholders to be prepared for the task.

On bullying, he said it is prohibited in his school and that he took his time to train his students and give them proper orientation on how to live above vendetta.

While speaking on 2022 prophecies, Rev. Gbadebo said: “We thank God for His Mercies that endures forever over us, the church and the nation at large particularly His mercy that kept us through 2021.  You will agree with me that 2021 was a turbulent year, but God was on our side and brought us into New Year full of promises, hope, expectations and joy.

“When we were praying towards the end of last year, God told us specifically that this year, 2022 will be our year of unspeakable joy. And we are holding on to His word that cannot fail.

“We are trusting God to do what will make all of us and Ondo State to dance positively this year without drum.

On this note, he highlighted roles of individuals and nations in making the word come to pass, he said the church must pray the prophecy into reality with all seriousness.

He pointed out that all the members of the church must take the word of God the way it is and pray it into their lives, family and business.

“God is always waiting to hear the prayer of his children. If the devil is not tired of litigations Christians must not be tired of supplications. We must not be careless in the place of prayer.

“Above all, we must run away from sin, because it defiles a man, it impedes the promises of God from coming to pass in the lives of people and we must ask God to give us power over the flesh.
