The Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) in Ondo State, Rev John Ayo Oladapo has rolled out drums in appreciation to God on his golden jubilee birthday as he made known how he has been fulfilling his set goals since he was 24 years old.
Estate Baptist Church the venue of the programme was filled to the capacity as notable people converged to celebrate with him on Wednesday January 5, 2022 marking his 50th Birthday.
Some of the dignitaries that attended the programme include the deputy Governor and other top government functionaries and notable clergy men and women.
While speaking with journalists the celebrant, Rev John Ayo Oladapo Chairman CAN in Ondo State said: “I thank God for His love and privilege in these five decades of my life. It has been God the Bible says “It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs but of God that shows mercy. Feel honoured and highly elated seeing the array of people that came here to honour me.
“My goals in life are embedded in the counsel of God for my life and God really helped me to achieve them in the past 50 years. God gave me vision of three stages of my life: firstly to work under someone, secondly to occupy leadership position and thirdly to impact other leaders.
“I have being in leadership position more than 25 five years ago and I thank God for His grace and mercy that have been seeing me through in all my endeavours.
“My projection for the years ahead is that all good things that God has in store for me should come to pass and I want to use this medium to appreciate all and sundry that grace today’s occasion and I pray that God will remember them for good.
