WE ARE SET TO PROMOTE QUALITY COCOA IN ONDO STATE- ‘SUPER-JET’

The new chairman of Ondo State Cocoa Traders’ Association, Mr. Michael Adebayo popularly known as ‘SUPER-JET’ has made known the readiness of the association under his leadership to ensure quality of cocoa in Ondo State.
While briefing journalists shortly after their meeting, at Sunbeth hotel, Adebayo said his purposeful leadership is to focus on quality cocoa production in the state.
Adebayo said measures have been put in place to ensure Ondo State regains its pride of place as the state with best quality cocoa in Nigeria.
In his words : “We are making efforts to enlighten cocoa agents who will in turn pass down the information to farmers on the need to provide only quality cocoa for export purposes.
He also noted that the association under his watch is going to set up task force with the backing of the government to enforce compliance to the rules of qaulity cocoa.
He said Ondo State that was known for grade one in cocoa production lost the position because of some greedy people that ventured into the business in recent times.
While noting that the association will not no longer allow the shaddy practices, he called on government to support the association to achieve the mandate.
Adebayo, SUPER-JET is also the Cheif Executive Officer of Mike-T group of companies including gas plant situated in Akure.
